In this meal plan, we’re repurposing Monday’s dinner to make Tuesday night really easy. Also worth getting excited about—the chicken burger, reintroduced as it should be: juicy, well-seasoned, and absolutely not the dry, sad version you might be expecting.

I wanted to use this meal plan to show the power of repurposing meals. It’s such a time-saver throughout the week, and a great way to get creative.
Monday’s ground turkey chili is a solid go-to for anyone cutting back on red meat—high in protein, packed with beans and veggies, and seasoned the way a classic chili should be.
Tuesday is all about the reroute. Chili almost always means leftovers, so we’re stuffing it into crispy taco shells and officially declaring Taco Tuesday handled.
Wednesday’s salmon hits all the right notes: salty, sweet, and savory. No air fryer? Totally fine—the recipe includes easy options for roasting or pan-frying.
Thursday’s chicken burger might just change your mind about chicken burgers altogether. If you’ve made my turkey burger recipe before, you already know the deal: juicy, flavorful, and absolutely no dry-patty energy.
And for Friday night, we’re keeping things simple with Grandma Pizza—low effort, and always the right move to end the week.

Monday: Ground Turkey Chili

Wednesday: Air Fryer Salmon With Orange Honey Glaze
No air fryer? No problem. I’ve included easy instructions for roasting or pan-frying this salmon instead—and trust me, the flavors here do all the work.
Thursday: The Best Chicken Burger
Big flavor, a juicy patty, and zero chance of dryness—this chicken burger checks all the boxes. It’s built with the right ingredients, so you never have to suffer through a sad, flavorless chicken burger again.
Friday: Easy Grandma Pizza

Smart Prep Tips for the Week 📝
Sunday is for the smallest possible head start—an hour, tops. Just enough to make the week feel gentler, without turning it into a whole thing.
- Monday’s Chili
- Chop the onions and bell pepper, then pack them into an airtight container and refrigerate.
- If making my homemade taco seasoning, you can make that now and set it aside in a small jar.
- If you’re feeling extra ambitious, you could make the entire chili on Sunday and refrigerate it until Monday, when you can just reheat it on the stovetop.
- Wednesday’s Salmon
- If you have a large fillet, cut it into portions, checking for any pin bones along the way. Place the fillets into a freezer-friendly bag and freeze until Tuesday night. Tuesday night, transfer the fillets to the fridge to thaw.
- Thursday’s Burgers
- Make and cook the patties on Sunday. Once cooled, transfer them to a freezer-friendly bag. Place squares of parchment between the patties to prevent them from freezing together. On Wednesday night, transfer the patties from the freezer to the fridge to thaw overnight.
