This week’s 5-day meal plan leans all the way into cold, rainy weather—because that seems to be in the forecast! Comfort food is the theme. Simple and cozy, but still nourishing. Think cheesy chicken Philly sandwiches, saucy tacos, silky pumpkin soup, beefy Ramen noodle stir-fry, and a sweet-and-salty pizza for a nice Friday night in.

Because Nobody Wants to Grocery Shop in the Rain

There’s something deeply satisfying about knowing dinner’s already handled when it’s pouring outside. No last-minute grocery runs in the rain, no soggy takeout bags—just you, something cozy simmering away, and the smug satisfaction of having planned ahead. Because if the weather’s going to be moody, dinner might as well be comforting.

Sheet pan with veggies and cheesy chicken morsels.

Monday: Sheet Pan Chicken Philly Cheesesteak

A sheet pan meal worth having on repeat.

Small black cast iron pan holding tacos topped with tomatoes and lettuce.

Tuesday: Instant Pot Tacos With Ground Turkey

This 10-minute meal is almost too fast and easy.

Four bowls of pumpkin cauliflower soup garnished with croutons, greens, and a cream drizzle.

Wednesday: Curry Pumpkin Cauliflower Soup

A simple, velvety soup that lets us enjoy what the pumpkin has to offer for a little longer.

Skillet full of beef, peppers, and Ramen noodles.

Thursday: Easy Beef Stir Fry With Ramen Noodles

There will be no conversation at the dinner table—just slurping.

Cooked Hawaiian pizza on cast iron pizza pan.

Friday: Hawaiian Pizza with Crispy Prosciutto

This recipe does celebrate pineapple on pizza. If it causes a divide at the dinner table, I promise it’s still worth it.

Smart Prep Tips for the Week 📝

Sunday’s the perfect day to get a head start on the week—if you can carve out an hour (honestly, sometimes less). Here are a few things worth doing to make the next few days a little easier:

  • Monday’s chicken Philly sandwiches: Cut up the peppers, onions, and mushrooms and keep them ready in an air-tight container in the fridge for the next day. You could also slice and store the chicken separately.
  • Wednesday’s pumpkin soup: Cut the cauliflower into florets. If you’re feeling extra ambitious, you could even roast them and store them in the fridge.
  • Thursday’s stir-fry: Slice the bell pepper for this on Sunday, along with the other bell peppers for Monday’s sandwiches.

Delicious Pairings

That’s the week—nothing fussy, nothing overthought, just goof, cozy food. If you make any of these, leave a comment and rating on the recipe (it really helps!), and tag me on Instagram—I love seeing what dinner looks like at your place.

Next week: More soup, more easy sheet pans, and more Asian-inspired goodness.
