Mint Yogurt Sauce for Chicken

This quick and easy mint yogurt sauce for chicken is bright, fresh, and tangy. It also works great for lamb or pita and veggie dipping!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup full fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped mint leaves
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Zest of one lemon
  • 1 TBSP freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • Kosher salt and cracked black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients into a bowl or sealable container. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until everything is well blended. Taste and season to your preference (more salt, more cayenne, etc.)
  • Cover, and let the sauce sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. (This lets the ingredients set.) Use immediately or refrigerate it for up to 3 days.
