Christmas Sangria Recipe
This effervescent Christmas sangria brings the wintry flavors of cranberry and orange straight into your glass of red wine—festive, refreshing, and exactly what the holidays call for.

- 750 ml red Spanish wine, like Garnacha or Tempranillo
- 1 cup cranberry juice
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup triple sec
- Juice of two oranges, about 1/2 cup Or use about 1/2 cup of pulp-free orange juice.
- 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 orange, sliced into thin slices Half of the slices for the sangria pitcher, and the other half for glass garnishes.
- Orange seltzer water To top off the pitcher or individual glasses
Prepare the fruit: Add whole cranberries and half the orange slices to the bottom of a large sangria pitcher.
Add liquids: Pour the orange juice, brandy, triple sec, red wine, and cranberry juice into the pitcher. Stir well to mix.
Chill in the fridge: Refrigerate the sangria for at least an hour.
Add seltzer & serve: Before serving, top it off with the orange seltzer and garnish the glasses with cut-up orange slices.
