Preheat the air fryer to 380º F.
Wash and dry the beans, then cut any stems or rough ends off of the ends.
Transfer the beans to a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, then sprinkle the beans with 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and a few cracks of black pepper (about 1/8 teaspoon). Toss to coat.
Transfer the green beans to the air fryer basket, shake to spread them out, and cook them at 380º F for 4 minutes. Give the basket a shake, then cook for another 4 minutes.
When done, transfer the green beans to a serving plate. Top with shredded parmesan and lemon wedges for a nice fresh spritz of lemon juice!
