Ingredients

  • 1 ball of fresh pizza dough Here's my one-hour pizza dough recipe
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella or Italian blend shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup (give or take) peppadew peppers, drained
  • 1/3 cup (give or take) cup-and-char pepperoni Regular pepperoni will work if you can't find cup-and-char.
  • 1 TBSP Natural honey
  • Cracked black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 550º F or as hot as it will go.
  • Lightly grease the pizza pan and slowly work your dough out onto it, forming a crust at the edges of the pan.
  • Spoon the sauce over the center of the pizza and distribute it evenly, then sprinkle on the cheese in an even layer. Top the pizza with pepperoni and peppadew peppers.
  • Place the pizza in the oven and let it cook for about 15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven and let it sit to cool—about 10 minutes.
  • Drizzle the honey over the pizza, and then crack black pepper over the pizza. Slice into it, and enjoy!

Notes

Want to flavor your crust? Prior to cooking the pizza, brush a light coating of olive oil over the crust after topping your pizza. Sprinkle a bit of garlic salt and/or Italian seasoning over the crust.
